www.jolicloud.com is a cloud OS, Where  your applications and data are all cloud based meaning even after a reinstall (like I did after testing the install) passwords are remembered and applications are still installed. Personally I think this is a fantastic OS for people not wanting to buy a ChromeBoook and have an old netnook or laptop they use just for browsing the web.

This was installed on  AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5200+ with 3GB of ram and a Nvidia Geforce 220

Dicks Installs Hardware

I'm often asked what hardware and software I use for making my videos, Here is a quick list of what I've acquired over the years, 1st of all I started with Pantalla a little ffmpeg script I wrote to capture full screen or windows of VIrtualBox , After A few years and a few complaints that Virtualbox isn't real hardware isn't isn't a true reflection of what an install is like.

So I've ebay'd and use 2nd hard hardware (from my own old machines to build a "install box"

It's only a dual core AMD Athlon with 3GB of ram and a Nivida Gforce 220
But it is typical of "lower end hardware" that most Ex Windows XP users tend to have.

Commodore OS Linux Seems to be a customized Distro based on Linux Mint,
It has a very annoying voice prompts that I missed at the start as I had my mixer turned down and the project seem to have been abandoned, but Distrowatch states it's still active, So who know, maybe we can expect an update to this unique OS soon.

I've had a look at Oracle Linux 6

It is a Binary compatible version of Linux with RedHat Linux

This seems to be free to use while only paying for support,

I did have problems updating using the GUI but when I ran for 40min with no sign of doing anything so I did 

#yum update
It's updated and installed the updated with no problems
